So this past May I went to New York to attend my aunt's graduation from Columbia Dental school. It was a most joyous trip. How could it not be? Right when our plane landed in JFK international airport, we were greeted with the sight of a small one engine cesna aflame next to our landing runway. O what a sign to behold of our journey to come. Anyways, the first night we stayed at a guest dorm at Columbia University. Quite homely it was. I didn't do much in New York, I wanted to visit Soho and such places, but I thought it was best not to, since I didn't have much money and it would be quite tempting visiting those fashiony areas. I spent most of my time visiting the ethnic neighborhoods and eating the great food there. I also visited a couple of the musuems such as the Met. Ahh the memories, I miss New York. I want to live there for a couple of years, its so cool with the subway and food carts and twenty-four hour food places and diners. Okay, enough words, now look at the pretty pictures.

WOCC and NORCAL weekend (sometime in April 2004)

So a bunch of us UCR heads go up to UCD for a conference, Womyn of Color Conference (back in April). It was fun. Drove 8 hours striaght with only only break for gas, actually two if you count the stop at BCD tofu house, but that was after only about 40 minutes stuck in traffic when we decided to stop and get some soon tofu, good stuff I might add. The drive was quite enjoyable I might add. Five guys stuck into a Toyota Prius, fun times. But it actually got to be fun in that car, I sure do miss that prius (not being sarcastic). It saved us gas and time by not having to refill the gas tank all the time like are other colleagues who happened to drive full sized sedans. So the Conference was cool, just wish more students attended and that the air was saturated with pollen. I was sneezing, sniffling, stuffy nose, itchy watery red eye the whole time cause of the pollen. You could see the deng pollen floating around in the air. Anyways, didn't take much pictures, just killed the rest of the film on the disposable camera from the taHOE trip. O yea, we also stopped by at Frisco and Santa Barbara on the way back. The 101 freeway is such a cool freeway, specially with all those cows  haha. ok, enjoy the pics  .

Here are some pictures from a trip to Tahoe. Went with some friends from riverside, as a part of UCI's Kababayan's (the filipino club there) winter retreat. Diane and Pat G. knew some people over theres, i just tagged along. Fun times. sorry for the very late update, but i just developed the fotos. enjoy the update, there won't be much more in the future. haha, hopefully that won't be the case though. catch y'all laters.

So summer is here again. I remember starting this thig last summer. So I guess I should post something to commemorate the coming of summer and the near one year anniversary of this fotoblog. This picture is from last summer. It shows what happened to my head last summer AND what happened to it in the 5th grade. First off the most noticable thing is the abscence of my hair. The cause of that, as stated before in earlier post, is because of my clumsiness. I fell and my hair fell on to a pair of head shears that just happened to be plugged in and on. So instead of me walking around with some no hair, I decided just to walk around with no hair and continued to shave the rest of it. It sounded like a good idea at the time, until I saw the shape of my bald head. Anyways, you might also notice the scar on my head. It's the line marked by the abscence of hair folicles. the thing on my forhead is some blemish caused from the defective film used. Thats from a field trip to the zoo in the 5th grade. After some viewing of the animals, we proceded to the petting portion of the zoo. There was goats, sheep and some other animals. I particulary remember this one billy goat there. He kept on trying to eat my name tag, and not wanting to lose my name tag so that the zoo guide won't think I'm some random tag-a-long as oppose to one of the students, I tried continually to walk away from it. That did not work, so I started to hit the goat on the nose. After a few hits to the nose, the goat stopped trying to eat my name tag, but proceeded to headbut me in the rear-end with its blunt 2-inch horns. Despite the goat having blunt horns and being a youngster, the headbutts hurt. So then I was like, 'enough is enough.' So I took ten steps away from the goat and proceeded to lower my head and kick the dirt behind me, the goat did the same. I could see then that the goat did not take to my bravado, and one not to bluff, I started at the goat and the goat to me and we both met in the middle. I could say that the goat mess with me anymore. So yea, scar then appeared a few days later. Hope you guys enjoyed the story and sorry for the lack of updates. ok, see you pepols laters.

Hello peoples, haven't updated this in a LONG time. Sorry bout that. At least I somewhat update my Xanga page. You can check that out if you want. Well, thought this page deserved an update, but didn't have a camera yet. So I stole one from Pat's fotopage. heh, thanks Pat! Anyways, Halloween was pretty nice this year. Dreamcatcher is weird, scary and an overall good movie. o yea, condolences go out to Deri, sorry if I messed up your pad man. I usually could hold my stuff, but that was my second time that I couldn't. I really think theres a lessoned to be learned here, but I'll just plead the the under the influence clause. Good times that night, mostly cause of the inebriation part, heh. umm, its late. beddy time, laters.

I thought an update would be good right now, since I'm stuck here in the computer lab trying to finish up my paper for class tomorrow. The fact that I also finally got my film developed from one of my adventures from this summer past also played a role in my decision to update. I got that pictures on a CD thing so that I could share my fond memories of summer with all you guys. My two uncles, a cousin and I went to go hike the agrestal wilderness of the muy dangeroso Yose Mitee wilderness. It was one crazy adventure man. We had to hike up waterfalls, vertical cliffs, dome-like mountains, ice cliffs, and bunch of other stuff. I posted some of the pictures to show how screwy it all got. We even got attacked by TWO bears. It was at night so the pick didn't come out too well, but u all know what bears look like right? I also met some new friends up there. There was margeret the marmot and treeneequa the tree. I got lonely up there since I was away from my non-existent girlfriend  . heh. treeneequa was really cool, but margeret turned out not so nice. He, yes he, stole my so important clif bars and my beef jerky. So in retaliation, I ate him. I also turned him into a hat, but I quickly got rid of that when it started to smell really bad. I didn't really know how to skin a marmot properly. Bunch of stuff happened. Its too much for one post. I got 26 mosquito bites. I refused to put that bug repellent on, because it smelled and it had crazy chemicals in it. SO i was the only one who really got any bug bites. O yea, also saw some deer and fauna. Pretty Flowers. We met a christian group up there too. They were cool. Also got some free food from passer-byers at the base. We took that food so fast, cause we ran out of food on the third day I think, and we were there for five if i recall. Fun times were had at the mighty Yose Mitee wilderness.

Whoa, a back to back update. I don't think that's gonna happen for awhile. Anyways, just thought since I'm still here at San Diego, that I might as well do another update, even though there's nothing really to update. Well on Saturday I decided to go for a walk in the forest at 3 a.m. like I usually do on Saturdays. Fun times. But this time I saw something. I took a picture but the lighting was bad, since it was 3 in the morning and all I had was a flashlight and the light of the moon. At first I thought it was a big spiderweb or something, so I took a picture. You don't really see spiderwebs that big you know. But after some inspection, I concluded that it was a ultra-top-secret military special forces agent wearing a ultra-top-secret special forces military suit that camouflages the wearer to its backround despatched to assasinate me. Right then and there, I ran up, gave him a left hook, kicked him in the testicles, and pulled out my 9-mm glock and shot him 5 times, twice in the head and 3 times in the chest. After all that, I realized that my punch, my kick, and my gunshots all went through the ultra-top-secret special forces military guy. So I figured that his ultra-top-secret military special forces camouflage suit also manipulated the atomic structure of the wearer so that it would allow the wearer to condense and/or seperate his molecules, allowing the ultra-top-secret special military forces suit wearer to pass through solid matter or become dense as platinum. After I figured that out, I ran away screaming like a high school cheerleader running away from a psychotic serial killer. That was part of my plan, to you know, distract the ultra-top-secret special forces military assasin allowing me to escape. After running for some odd number of meters, on the account that I was out of breath, I looked back to see if I had lost the ultra-top-secret special forces military agent, but he was right there behind me, muttering something under his breath, "gnieid mi ,em pleh, em pleh, deredrum neeb ev'I, redrum." Then I got mad because he was just gibbering nonsense to me at that point, so I told him off, and continued to walk at a really fast pace, because you know, I was out of breath after those few initial meters of straight sprinting. At this point, I took another picture, since I had my camera out still. So this time while I was fleeing, I decided not to look back cause I figured he would make fun of me more. So I finally reached my car, the trusty white maxima of yesteryears, and drove off. I had a glass of milk when I got home, tryin to shake the experiance I had just experianced. After some thought, I quickly remembered that I was lactose intolerant. So while running to the bathroom, I thought to myself, "I need to get out more."
